Literally so, and I do mean “literally.” To the point that I’m seriously wondering if I still have a radio that could pick up a live broadcast of someone else (as you noted, web radio is several seconds behind).
I think most baseball fans would agree that Chisholm (overwhelmingly voted by MLB players as most overrated), Soto (with his batter's box routine), and Verdugo (hard to really hate given how he has played this year) would all rank higher on the easy-to-hate meter than any of the Dodgers. It will make for good theater.
I hate the Yankees but baseball is much more entertaining when they are competitive. After watching the new Netflix documentary about the 2004 Red Sox, I miss that level of hate between the teams.
